Why has our nation, with its fine ancient traditions, become like this? The following has sparked heated discussions, but in my opinion, most people haven't hit the nail on the head, and they still don't understand the direction of human civilization's development.

Let me put it this way, Chinese people have been isolated for too long and don't seek to understand many things. They emphasize being in a state of confusion. Why emphasize being in a state of confusion? Because our imperial rule lasted too long, and people have developed a mentality of "it's meaningless to figure things out" and "questioning and resisting is useless." So in our traditional culture, there are many direct conclusions but few logical arguments—anyway, they just tell you that it's like this, that people should be filial, and parents are the greatest; that people should get married, and having more children and grandchildren brings more blessings; that women shouldn't have too much knowledge and ideas, they should just listen to their husbands... If you don't do these things, you will be ostracized by society, and no one comes out to explain why, they just say it's been five thousand years, it's the essence of traditional culture, and you just don't understand.

If you try to argue your point, you will immediately be subjected to online bullying—yes, that kind of attack and collective exclusion from ignorant locals who don't seek to understand is the earliest form of online bullying. So under this social consensus, the spark of questioning was extinguished long ago, and then they joined the army of online bullies—not only do they not have to be bullied, they can also join the group and bully others. Chinese society isn't "what has happened," but rather the spirit of seeking truth and pragmatism in many things has just begun to sprout. Children not listening reflects the rapid development of society and the fast pace of knowledge updates, and indirectly reflects the low learning and educational abilities of many parents; the sky-high divorce rate and low marriage rate reflect people's reflection on the necessity of marriage. Behind it is not the collapse of the moral system, but rather people's non-wholesale acceptance of past practices, reflecting independent thinking; the indifference between young people and their parents reflects the reconstruction of human relationships—we no longer accept the arrangement of fate that we should be close to those we are blood-related to, but rather we form relationships based on shared interests and passions—yes, when a person sees more of the essence of life, they will have fewer boring constraints and pursue the maximization of their own interests. The reason why many people feel uncomfortable with this kind of society is precisely because they have been bound by too many shackles, which they are unwilling to break, and they lack the courage to break them, so they don't want others to break them either. Because if everyone doesn't break them, the game is balanced within the same framework, but if you don't break them and others do, you will be at a disadvantage in interactions.

Why feel emotional? Why make appeals? It is to once again form a consensus and use online bullying to trap those who have already broken free from these constraints.
